PORK TENDERLOIN WITH APPLE TOPPING

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 bottle MNMLST Italian Dressing 
  • 2 pound pork tenderloin
  • 4 tablespoon butter, sliced into 4-6 pats
  • Fine sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 jar MNMLST Apple Pie Filling for topping

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Place pork tenderloin in a Ziplock bag or bowl and cover in the Italian Dressing, marinate for 12-24 hours. 
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Line the baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  4. Generously season meat with salt and pepper.
  5. In a large pan, heat oil until shimmery.
  6. Add meat to the pan and cook on all sides until dark golden brown. 
  7. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  8. Season again
  9. Place pats of butter on top of the pork.
  10. Wrap in foil, bake until meat is 145 degrees internally at the widest, thickest part of the tenderloin (about 25 minutes for a 2lb roast)
  11. When pork has come to temperature, remove and let rest, tented with foil, for at least five minutes to lock in juices.
  12. Slice against the grain and serve immediately.
  13. Top with MNMLST Apple Pie Filling, generously
  14. NOTE: Pork tenderloin might look pink in middle - if thermometer reads 145 degrees in center of tenderloin, it is fully cooked, regardless of color.
