MUSHROOM WONTON SOUP

INGREDIENTS:
  • 24 ounce chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 ounce MNMLST Mushroom soup
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 2 teaspoon coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon wakame or 2X3 in piece of kombu
  • 1 teaspoon salt *if using low sodium broth
  • 3 green onions sliced on a bias, white parts to add to broth, reserve green for garnish
  • 1 cup fresh shiitake sliced, stems reserved for broth
  • 1 cup bok choy quartered or sliced
  • 1 10 ounce package of frozen wontons.

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Bring all items EXCEPT green parts of green onions , mushrooms, bok choy and wontons to a boil.  
  2. Boil for 20 mins and then strain.
  3. Bring the broth back to a boil,  add wontons mushroom and cook until done (8-10 minutes.)
  4. Add Bok choy and cook for a few minutes 
  5. Garnish  with green onions.
